Virginia coach Tony Bennett said during an ACC teleconference Monday that he's unsure if sophomore swingman Joe Harris will be able to play Tuesday against Clemson.

Harris, Virginia's second-leading scorer at 12.5 points per game, suffered a fracture in his non-shooting hand Saturday at North Carolina. Bennett said there was still swelling in the hand, but Harris may play with some sort of thermal plaster cast.

"I'm sure it will be a little cumbersome but you need to provide protection," Bennett said.

The coach also said freshman Malcolm Brogdon would likely start in Harris' place if the sophomore can't play.
