Lewicki and his teammates were denied the sweep against the Georgians, who fought back to take a 5-4 win over the Cavaliers in 10 innings, ending Virginia’s 10-game winning streak, seven in a row against ACC competition.
The Cavalier clinched their third consecutive ACC series on Saturday by beating visiting Georgia Tech, 4-2.
